Happy New Year!

Happy New Year 2015, dear Pixie Pals!

It’s 2015 already! >.< In my mind, I still haven’t gotten over 2013, let alone 2014. So this should be interesting. 😉

Like every year, I have made some New Year Resolutions. One of them is to post more often, and to get some new guest authors! 😀

As for the Christmas Re-union, it went fairly smoothly. A great thanks to Crystal Airshine , Rose Morningmist ,   Minerva Grace and all other pixies who organized and attended this. We had a blast!

As for the other news, our awesome Marigold Sunjewel has conceived an equally awesome idea to bring back the Pixie Hollow events we had, back when the virtual world was opened. Click here to know more.

The Pixie Hollow Reunion

Hello yet again, Pixie Pals! As you all are know, we are gearing for an ultimate reunion which would start on the 19th of September, that is Pixie Hollow’s 1st closure anniversary. We want to rekindle our friendships and revive our community. I have decided on this name- “The Pixie Hollow Reunion“. Credits to the awesome Marigold Sunjewel, for choosing the name. She is one of the most active pixies around, and is always lending a helping hand to others. 🙂 This reunion or get together would span around a few days, so that anyone willing to come can join. I think it could stretch around 3-4 days for everyone’s convenience. Now, we need to decide on a few essential things. I am a little perturbed, since there are a few days left for the ‘celebration’, but I hope we figure things out. We need each others’ help, remember! A few people can’t do this alone- everyone has to contribute. ^^ Lets see~ ******************************************************************* 1. Time Since we live scattered around different parts of the world, our time zones aren’t the same. So, we need to decide on a time which is convenient for everyone. Of course, the reunion shall span over a few days, but you wouldn’t want to come with great enthusiasm only to find yourself alone. ^^; if you aren’t comfortable with commenting the name of your country, you can comment below telling me the difference between your time and the GMT that is the Greenwich Mean Time. For example, my time is GMT + 5 hours 30 minutes. I hope that clarifies it. 🙂 ******************************************************************* 2. Place This is literally the most important of them all. WHERE would we meet? It could be a blog, or another virtual world. Here is a poll for possible places to meet up:

Please, do vote! **************************************************************** 3. What to post This is for the bloggers. We need to post something special in honor of Pixie Hollow. Even if you don’t post anymore, just take sometime, and post a little message, or anything you wish. You just have to show that you still care. It’s up to you what you want to post about. Everyone is doing different stuff, and it feels marvelous! ^.^ ******************************************************************** 4. What to comment Readers matter the most! Of course, bloggers also turn into readers when they drop by other blogs. 🙂 Comment something special on new posts in the honor of Hollow. Your voice means a lot. ********************************************************************* 5. What shall we talk about? We would meet up, yes, but what would we talk about? Since most of us haven’t met each other in Pixie Hollow, it would be great to talk to each other ‘face to face’. Moreover, a lot of pixies shall be present. We would talk about our memories in PH, what we feel about it, and innumerable  other stuff. We all haven’t talked since ages, so it would feel good. 😀 *********************************************************************** 6. Participants This reunion is being held, all right. But, are you COMING? This matters the most, you know. Please do come if you were a pixie in Pixie Hollow. Most of us haven’t been active lately. I want all of us to unite on this special day. A few hints on Pixie Hollow’s re-opening and more

I haven’t posted in a while, and have completely got no idea what to post about. Therefore, I decided to post about nothing but our beloved Pixie Hollow.

To start with, since Pixie Hollow closed on September 19th, 2013, several hints have been dropped about its re-opening, as well as about it’s never opening again. In this post, I’m going to talk about the hints on the optimistic side, or in easier words, hints about the virtual world’s re-opening and also about sites similar to Pixie Hollow which are being made.

This link leads you to a page which looks similar to the Pixie Hollow log in page, but it doesn’t work. I was jumping with joy when I first went to that link, but that joy was trashed in a minute. But then, every hint counts. 🙂

This link will lead you to the main Pixie Hollow page. 😀 At first it would take you to the Printable page, but I tried for myself and discovered that when you click on all the other pages.   Alas, the link for the Pixie Central page and the Pixie Hollow World.

But still, you can print pictures, watch the videos and do some other cool stuff!

3. Fairy ABC

Credits to Sapphire for making us more aware about this one. 🙂 I found a video by Izzy Foxstone about a sparrow-man called Wind Muddle and his friend Apple trying to re-create Hollow.  As of now, when you go to this link, it would lead you to a page with the Pixie Hollow log in page and a text saying that the site is still being worked on. I remember when I made an account on Fairy ABC months back, soon after Pixie Hollow had closed. Then, they only allowed you to create an account and fairy, and said that they would add more features soon. As of now, they are still working on the site.

4. This one is rather interesting. A BIG thanks to Ethereal Spark for her hard work. She tried to recreate the game using an app called Worlize, which lets you create a virtual world of your own. I visited it, and found a few fairies hanging around! 😀

It’s not REALLY like Pixie Hollow, but it’s VERY difficult for a fan to make. The screenshots and music is great. 😀

5.Chinese “Pixie Hollow”

This one had caused a lot of excitement back when Pixie Hollow had closed down. Even though most people call it ‘Chinese Pixie Hollow’, the meaning of the virtual world’s name is ‘Little Flower Fairy’.

This isn’t really Pixie Hollow, but a Chinese game which is strikingly similar to it. It’s really cool, and also fun, BUT, the biggest problem is that you would find it difficult to play if you don’t know Chinese. -.- I tried playing it and I was, kind of, lost. O.O I do speak Chinese, but I can’t read it. :O It would be helpful if it was in either English, French, Spanish, Greek or any other language that I can read and understand.

Despite that, it’s a great game to play if you speak Chinese! 😀

And if you really, really want to play it, you would need to watch some tutorials on YouTube.

Guess what, I found out a link to The Manga Digital Painter from Disney Create! Actually, it wasn’t me, but a friend from the Disney Create Wiki. I’m just helping in spreading the word. ^.^

It’s kind of glitchy but it still works very well, and you must try it out! You can’t log in or save your artwork, but still. 🙂 Something is better than nothing.

I installed a painter called GIMP 2.6 to my computer and tried it out. You can create professional artwork on it, and I’m nothing but a mere beginner. -.-

Pixie Hollow Memories: Mixed Bag

All right, now. I am awfully sad to declare that this is my last Pixie Hollow Memories post, as I don’t have any more pictures. This is a mixed bag, which means the memories are not about any particular subject. They are about different things. All right, where is the tissue box again? You are sure to shed some tears as well as show some smiles as you read this.

I decided to start with my profile. I really miss my fairy very much. I don’t know where she is now. 😦

Merry

AW dear! This is my butterfly, Merryswirl or Merry. She was my best friend as she was there WHENEVER I needed her.And she could perform all the tricks! I miss you Merry, YES I DO! 😦

Troop Rabbit Hideout

I really loved Camp Pixie Dust very much! As I was an Animal talent, I was in Troop Rabbit. This hideout has a VERY special place in my heart. Can you see the other fairy in this picture? I don’t know who she is, as she was not my friend. I couldn’t add her as she was standing idol from a long time. Anyways, I know she also must have been catching the last glimpses of the hideout.

Animal Derby

This is the game everyone must have played. I really miss and thank those adorable animals who let us race on their backs. All of them were awesome, even the turtle. Mind you that Mr. Turtle was not at all slow. I won the race many times with him, against players on faster animals!

P.S. I know you are curious who must have won this race in this picture. For your information, I won it! 🙂 (A smile at last)

Crafts

Okay, you know why I chose this particular picture. Because I have got a 100/100 score in it! I just loved that pretty skirt. I also crafted the other knitted gala things and wore them together. I miss them!

Havendish Square

I miss this specific meadow because it was a chatting hub for all. This special corner below the ballroom was always flooded with chatting players, mostly members. We often tried out silly sweets and chatted with numerous people at the same time. Then there were many things in Havendish Square. The Ballroom, The theater, Cassie’s Costumes and The Queen’s Boutique. Oh, and also Animal Derby. *tears* All right, I miss the other meadows too.

My best friend

OKAY, I miss all my friends but BFFs are special, right? Scarlet was really close to me. I miss the fun hangouts we had together. We also went shopping together. We also played Animal Derby together. We also chatted together. Oh yes, we did (almost) everything together! I still know Scarlet, but those times…

The last day

Yes, correct, it was the last day then! Scarlet told me that she would ‘leave as she came’ meaning she would leave Pixie Hollow in the way she came to Pixie Hollow. I was inspired and I also decided to leave as I came. Result? I wore my arrival day outfit (which I still had) and changed my hairstyle into the one I had entered PH. I also changed my expression and everything.

The Leaderboards

Who doesn’t like to be on the leaderboards? I remember telling all my friends the good news whenever I came on the leaderboards. Yeah, I’m here in this picture. I scored high in my fave game – Bubble Bounce. How much I miss it!

The Never Unicorn

That magic. I had to finish many quests to finally see her- THE NEVER UNICORN.

Yes, I had seen them. The picture is the proof. I had seen all the mermaids but they disappeared too quickly. I was fortunate enough to click this picture.

Fawn

My dear mentor! All of us miss our mentors badly.Fawn was like a friend to me. I loved her quests and everything. Aw!

This look

Boo! Its Sarah, not Silvermist. I myself had created this look. It took lots of diamonds, dyes,dresses, hairstyles and time to create this. I remember a fairy running after me thinking I was Sil. Maybe she didn’t notice my name written above. How I wish I could wear this now!

And…

Pixie Hollow itself!

I talked about many things now, but they were all about- Pixie Hollow! Its truly the place were I, You, we belong. It was like a second home to us. All the friends and memories made there shall never be forgotten. Events like Animals’ Mothers Day, Garden Tea Party, Camp Pixie Dust and many more, will remain in our hearts. Chatting with our friends, Gardening, Wilderness Adventures or just shopping by ourselves. PH, you will never ever be forgotten. Never.

Pixie Hollow Memories: Feeding other fairies’ animal friends

Yes I know you all miss Pixie Hollow.More than 2 months have passed since its closure and its still fresh in our minds. We have kind of forgotten it but still, its in our hearts.

While playing in my school garden, I suddenly came across a lady bird and immediately it reminded me of Flower, Scarlet’s lady bird friend in Pixie Hollow. That is why I decided to post about her-Flower. This is a sort of a tribute to Flower and all the other animal friends we have left in Pixie Hollow. Grab your tissues for you are really gonna feel emotional and miss your animal friends when you read this post.

Now, when you have seen all these pics and read whatever I had said, let me make everything clear to you. You all already know Scarlet- my best friend. She wasn’t online from 2 days so I had dropped by her house to check on Flower- her lady-bird animal friend. I found out that she was hungry, and I fed her. I had also taken Merry, my butterfly along for I knew she’s like to see Flower.

Now when I look at these pictures, I feel sad- VERY SAD. I badly miss Pixie Hollow and everyone there. That’s where we belong, actually. That’s why this blog was made and people got to know me. That’s why we have met so many new friends and had so much fun.

Pixie Hollow Memories:Wilderness Adventures

Well, do you Pixies remember those Wilderness Adventures? Weren’t they fun? Didn’t you love them? Hanging around with lovely animals with your friends, or maybe alone…or maybe healing a sick truffle? Then wasn’t it great collecting all the special Wilderness ingredients like gems, feathers,metal bits and truffles?

On the last day of Pixie Hollow, I bid good-bye to all our Wilderness friends. They tried to look cheerful, to make me happy, but, we all know they were just as sad as us.

A very large glimmer of hope

Fairies, I’m now back and I have got a new and very interesting topic to discuss. Guess what it is? Wait…

A reader of this blog called Crystal Watershimmer, has reported something very mysterious. You see, one day, as she was thinking about Pixie Hollow, she searched ‘Create a Fairy and Fly’. And what she found was really great. She found two sites, similar to Pixie Hollow! However, if you click on the buttons like ‘start’ or ‘login’ then it doesn’t work, but still.

The prettiest of them all, Silvermist, also known as Sil was ready to help everyone. However, Miss Silvermist could never hold her tears! Thank you Miss Sil, for being the mentor to Water talents and giving us fun quests!
