Disney’s 54th animation feature: Big Hero 6

Hello Guys! I have been lazying around for the past few days, and the result is that I haven’t posted anything since a fairly long time. Thanks to Sapphire, she made up for me by posting some cool stuff here on this blog. 🙂

I have a lot to share with you all. By the way, who has heard about Big Hero 6?

This November 17, Walt Disney Animation Studios will release their 54th theatrical animated movie, Big Hero 6. The first images from the film have just been revealed, showing off our lead character Hiro Hamada and his robotic sidekick and friend, Baymax. As a criminal plot starts spreading through the city of San Fransokyo, it’ll be up to Hiro, Baymax, and a reluctant group of first-time crime fighters to save their city.

Take a look:

A robot named Baymax befriends robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, and together—along with an unlikely band of high-tech heroes—they race to solve a mystery unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo.

When he finds himself in the middle of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada transforms his closest companion—a robot named Baymax—into a high-tech hero.

And here goes the trailer:

I got to know about Big Hero 6 about an year ago, when Frozen was yet to release. I was browsing the Walt Disney Animation Studios site when I came across a page which told the names of different movies in work. Of course, Big Hero 6 was one of them. I didn’t pay much attention, since I couldn’t figure out what the movie was all about. But now, with the trailer and pictures released, we know! 😀

Above all, I came to a conclusion that Hiro, the lead character, is really adorable! The best thing is the gap between his front teeth. :3

Now, with the trailer, pictures and the poster released, artists have again woken up and there is lots of Big Hero 6 fan art around! 😀 Even though, some people are miffed with fan art being created WAY before the film’s release, but, a piece of concept art is all we need. 😉 And yes, Sarah has also created some Big Hero 6 fan art.

How is it? ^.^

What’s more, a short film called ‘Feast’ would be shown in the theaters followed by Big Hero 6. That’s a new trend for CG or computer-animated Disney movies, just like ‘Get a Horse!’ was shown before Frozen. What a treat for the audience! 😀

What do you have to say about Big Hero 6? Tell us in a comment, below.
